Double Chocolate Blood Orange Olive Oil Cookies
2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1/4 cup Hershey’s dark chocolate cocoa powder
Mix well in a bowl and set aside
In a separate bowl mix,
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick softened butter
1/2 cup Olivins Blood Orange Olive Oil
Mix until it becomes a paste. Blend in 2 eggs and 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract.
Mix dry ingredients in with the wet ingredients well. After well blended mix in 1/4-1/2 cup chocolate chips.
Form small golf ball size balls. Rolls these balls in orange sugar. Place cookies balls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 11-14 minutes depending on true oven temperature and size of the cookies. Use less time if you want a fudgier cookie.
